Cuba Gooding Jr. surrenders while denying allegations

Gooding was set to turn himself in to police for the more recent case, but his lawyer said he's reconsidering after video emerged that allegedly shows he did nothing wrong.

A 29-year-old woman told police the Oscar-winning "Jerry Maguire" star grabbed her breast while he was intoxicated around 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

A spokesman for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office declined to comment.

NYPD detective Martin Brown says he does not yet know what Gooding will be charged with.

Officials said CGJ might not be charged for the 2008 incident because it took place 11 years ago, and NY has a five year statute of limitations on these types of alleged assaults.

Heller said he was "shocked and horrified" that the case was being prosecuted after he presented police with security video from the bar that the attorney said showed no criminal behavior by Gooding.

In 2012, a New Orleans bartender accused Gooding of pushing her after she asked him to leave the establishment.

Additionally, a second woman has since come forward with allegations of inappropriate touching involving Gooding, the outlet reports.

Videos posted on social media at the weekend show Gooding at the Manhattan bar singing the Journey hit Faithfully and posing for pictures with fans.

Gooding, a Bronx native, rose to fame after starring in "Boyz N the Hood" in 1991.

"I trust the system", he said as he walked through Los Angeles International Airport, adding that there was a tape "that shows what really happened". He also recently scored an Emmy nomination for his performance as O.J. Simpson on FX's "The People v. O.J. Simpson".
