Google Calendar is Down Right Now

"As part of Google's "Don't Be Evil" strategy they've deleted Google Calendar, you no longer have to attend meetings", wrote another Twitter user.

In response, many fans of the service have flocked to Twitter to express their disappointment at the problems plaguing Google Calendar.

Attempts to access Google Calendar through either the browser interface or via apps each end up the same way.

UPDATE 8:40AM: Google is acknowledging now that this is a full service outage of Calendar.

It's a pointed reminder of just how much impact even one Google service can have on productivity, should it go offline.

Independent outage monitor Downdetector has registered over 780 reports from users at one time insisting Google Calendar is not working properly.

According to G Suite Status Dashboard, the service disruption for Calendar was reported at 10:22PM Malaysian time and Google is now investigating the issue.

'We will provide more information shortly.

"We're investigating reports of an issue with Google Calendar".

Gotta love an error message. Many users are reporting Error 404 on mobile and desktop.

A lot of people rely on Google Calendar to keep track of meetings, appointments, and other important dates. Patiently waiting until it's back up is the only thing you can do. It should be working!
