Harris added that Fredette will be on the Warriors' Summer League roster after the pending deal is finalized.

Fredette's presence on the Warriors' Summer League roster seems to indicate that the Suns did not pick up his team option for the 2019-20 season.

Despite playing at a high level in the CBA, Fredette's worldwide success hasn't translated to the National Basketball Association.

The Phoenix Suns have chose to decline the team option on guard Jimmer Fredette's contract, according to Shams Charnania of Stadium, but Fredette won't be out of work for long.

Fredette was the Chinese Basketball Association's International MVP in 2017 and averaged a league-high 37.6 points per contest in 2019. He only averaged 3.7 points on 27.6 percent shooting in six games with the Suns at the end of last season.

Jimmer Fredette is looking to join a new team. He appeared in six games for the Suns in 2018/19, averaging 3.7 points and 1.3 assists in 10.8 minutes per game.

Fredette, now 30 years old, was picked No. 10 overall by the Sacramento Kings in 2011 after a remarkable college career at BYU.
