Earlier this week, Kate opted for a more casual look as she attended a walkabout in Keswick town centre during a visit to Cumbria.

Princess Charlotte will be starting school in September when she joins big brother Prince George at St Thomas's Battersea, and the Duchess of Cambridge has revealed she's very much looking forward to it.

Teaming the fitted dress with glam sparkly Jimmy Choo heels and diamond Kiki McDonough hoop earrings, the Duchess also wore her hair in her signature blown out style.

The Duchess has worn the long sleeved gown, priced at £1,580, before in 2016, when she presented the Art Fund Museum of the Year prize.

Prior to the dinner, Kate met with former Action on Addiction clients, Jay Otty and Melanie Bennett, who helped cater the meal.

In Cumbria on Tuesday, she was praised for the impact she is having for people with addictions and the work she's done to raise awareness of how drug and alcohol abuse affects families.

She then went on to make a brief speech, recognizing the work done by the charity, and reflect on her time as Patron and how it has also inspired other elements of her work.
