The Spice Girls have teased a downunder tour!

On stage at Wembley, Ginger Spice said: "I need to say something I should have said a long time ago".

"I'm always going to say the Spice Girls are going to continue and continue to tour the entire world", she said.

"I figured if I put it out there then maybe it's going to happen".

However, in a recent interview, Scary Spice has admitted that the tour isn't confirmed.at all!

"But I will make sure it actually does happen". Instead of being chauffeured to the Spice Girls' final show on Saturday night, she hopped on London's underground train, the Tube, to get to the gig faster.

The Spice Girls have never performed in Australia before, so Mel B's sudden announcement on stage on the weekend sent southern fans into a frenzy.

A Ticketek spokesperson could not say how many people had signed up for its waitlist, but suggested interest in an Australian Spice Girls tour was high.
