Defending champion and World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will meet Roger Federer in the 2019 Wimbledon men's final on Sunday, July 14, 2019 (7/14/19) at the All England Tennis Club in London, England.

Nadal made him wait for victory in a tense final game at SW19 but Federer ran out a deserved victor in a match high on quality.

"Djokovic is a human backboard", American great McEnroe said.

While Federer is chasing his own history, so too is Djokovic.

That was 2012 in four sets in a Wimbledon semi-final. He's only lost two other sets since then.

Federer eliminated opponents like Harris, Clarke, Pouille, Berrettini, Nishikori and Nadal.

"He loves to play very fast". Takes away the time from his opponent. So for players maybe like Nadal or myself that like to have a little more time, it's a constant pressure that you have to deal with.

"It's been a rock solid year", he said. "I enjoyed it. The crowd was unbelievable".

It'll be the third time the two all-time greats face off in the Wimbledon final, with Djokovic having won both prior encounters in 2014 and '15.

Since 2017, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have dominated the Grand Slams.

US to hold hearing on French tax investigation
Around 30 companies will be affected -mainly U.S. groups- including Alphabet, Facebook , Amazon and Microsoft. The US government says it will conduct a so-called Section 301 investigation into the French tax.

Nearly six years younger than Federer, Djokovic could add plenty more barring a loss of form or fitness.

Federer was sublime in beating Rafa Nadal in Friday's semi-final, whereas Djokovic was not tested almost so much against Roberto Bautista Agut.

Federer has lost all four of their most recent meetings at the Slams and it's now seven years since he triumphed over the 32-year-old at the majors. And as is the case with Nadal, Djokovic has managed to get the better of Federer head-to-head so far. An early break could rattle Federer and take the crowd out of the match.

"I've played with Roger in some epic finals here a couple years in a row, so I know what to expect".

"I had enough support here over the years, so I don't complain".

The SI Tennis crew breaks down the keys to the match and gives a prediction for Roger vs. Novak, part 48. That's what really matters.

However, the latest installment in what has become one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports left fans both inside the arena and watching all over the globe spellbound again. "I had another one [this year], and I was not able to convert to win it one more time here". "See you next year!" Of course he can. He'll win in four sets.

Jon Wertheim: He will have to serve well, even better than he did in the semifinal against Nadal.

Djokovic has steamed through all competition and heads to SW19 as the favourite. By reaching his twelfth Wimbledon final, the world number three has equalled Rafael Nadal's record of most finals at a single Grand Slam on twelve. Williams noted that Halep has finished as the year's top player two times.
