Social media personality Ray Diaz is arrested for alleged sexual assault

Another day another arrested social media personality, yet again involving minors and sexual assault.

"I was just so scared always because he would yell at me always", she said.

And there you have it, with a "thorough investigation" apparently leading to the arrest. "Currently, the Department has directed a group of investigators to look into these allegations", the police department wrote.

Clips posted to her social media account allegedly show Diaz being abusive.

However, after she safely returned to her mother's home, the teen said she had run away with Diaz and that he had cut a hole in the box springs under his mattress so she wouldn't be found.

Diaz responded to the claims and said that they were both acting in the clip. "It was fake. It is acting lessons, and it does sound insane, but it is an acting bar", he told HollywoodFix.com in an interview published on July 6. "He would yell at me for hours", the teenage girl said.

Also Friday, there was a 4.9-magnitude natural disaster in Ridgecrest, CA., and a small 2.5-magnitude quake in Mexico City. CBS News reports that the quake was the largest in the Seattle area since a 6.1 natural disaster in February 2001.


Police say an employee a Kohl's department store detained two female juveniles, asked for sexual favors to let them go, and ended up assaulting one of them.

Diaz, 33, who lives in Hollywood, was arrested in San Diego early Friday with the help of local police, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.

OPD says detectives also interviewed several family members and neighbors who lived in the area during the time the alleged assault took place.
