Did you know there's a new Mortal Kombat movie that's being made?

For those of you who are anxious that the Mortal Kombat reboot will be a watered-down PG-13 affair, don't be.

Russo revealed these details on Twitter, telling fans that he wanted to put rumours to bed.

IHC decides to remove Arshad Malik as accountability judge
The PML-N leader claimed that the accountability judge was coerced into delivering the Al-Azizia verdict against him [Nawaz]. I should have not acquitted Nawaz Sharif in one case and sentenced him in another case if I was under pressure, he asserted.

What's more, screenwriter Greg Russo confirmed that the series' iconic Fatality finishing moves will be seen in the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, though Russo didn't hint as to which of the many Fatalities will be filmed.

Russo refused to say which fatalities will be brought to the film, but there will nearly certainly be several of the classic violent finisher moves for Mortal Kombat fans to get excited about. While the games themselves basked in gory glory, the film was rated PG-13. It had more realistic action, gore, and fatalities. From Scorpion's 'Toasty, ' Kano's heart rip, Sub-Zero's spine-pulling finisher, to Sonya's Kiss of Death, Mortal Kombat has a myriad of bone-breaking finishers to pick from.

Are you excited about Mortal Kombat on the Big screen? The plot remains a mystery, but it can be presumed that the movie could cover the first tournament - much like the first film. The only caveat is that Russo can't confirm which fatalities will make it to the silver screen. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and New Line Cinema will release Mortal Kombat in cinemas around March 2021.
