Arsenal's Dani Ceballos says he made the right move joining the London Club.

The 31-year-old Frenchman has been leading the line for Madrid after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure and has been one of the few positives for the club in what has been a problematic one and a half years.

Arsenal don't have the option of signing him permanently at the end of the season, but Ceballos has claimed that he is keen to stay.

"I'm at Arsenal right now and I feel very good", Ceballos told reporters on Tuesday in Madrid, where the Spanish team are training.

James' future was equally unclear after he returned from a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich, but rumoured interest from Napoli and Atletico Madrid failed to materialise.

On top of his relationship with Busquets, the Arsenal loanee also spoke about the possibility of featuring for Spain both at next year's Euro 2020 finals as well as the Olympic Games in Tokyo - a competition last won by Neymar's Brazil three years ago. I am very happy at Arsenal, I played 10 (11) games where I showed my best level. I know what my aim is this year, I know that I have it in my head to play and enjoy. "Despite having a lot of experience he continues to demonstrate the ambition of a young man, that ambition makes him different from the others", he said.

Ceballos has fought his way back into Spain's senior national team where he's forming a partnership with Barcelona's Sergio Busquets in central midfield, playing together most recently in a 2-1 win over Romania.

He is also looking forward to catching up with Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard, who is now on loan with Real Sociedad from Madrid. "We are working on his transfer to a new team".
