This comes ahead of the first Day/Night Test (the second Test in the series) which India is scheduled to play on November 22 against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens which will feature the pink ball.

This is also that one series in the World Test Championship calendar, in which Virat Kohli's men can steamroll the rag-tag opposition well inside four days. With the Test Championship, every match is equally important. They have just dismantled South Africa in the most ruthless manner imaginable.

No one is giving Bangladesh a chance to get anything out of this series, but tours like this one can help cricketers discover hidden depths within themselves.

Thirty-two Test matches, 26 wins, five draws, one defeat.

Frank Lampard to fine Chelsea players £20,000 who are late in training
Young players are also flourishing this term under Frank Lampard as Chelsea now occupy third position on the Premier League standings.

Mehidy Hasan and Taijul Islam have thrived on turning tracks in Bangladesh, as their home averages of 21.44 and 27.04 suggest. He would like to do an encore if not better against Bangladesh. It should prompt the team management to persist with Ishant at Indore where pitch could assist the quicker bowlers.

(AFP Photo)And before these three even come into play, Bangladesh will have to deal with openers Mayank Agarwal and the indomitable Rohit Sharma, who can make mincemeat of their bowling attack. Islam is expected to open alongside Imrul Kayes. Middle-order batsman Mosaddek Hossain is unavailable; he has left for Dhaka to attend to a family emergency. Mustafizur Rahman and Shahadat Hossain are likely to be two pacers for Bangladesh.

For Bangladesh's young guns, the biggest test in the match will be to stretch this Indian team to the fifth day, which looks unlikely at the moment. Wriddhiman Saha was phenomenal behind the stumps against South Africa, and it's unlikely he be replaced any time soon. When they play well they can be a very skillful team and they have the ability to play some really good cricket.
