Love Island returned on Sunday with a new host in Laura Whitmore, who took over from regular presenter Caroline Flack after she stepped down following an assault charge.

At the moment, Jess is coupled up with Mike Boateng while Eve is coupled up with Callum Jones.

Contestants in the Winter Love Island villa received a shock when two girls from Cambridgeshire arrived to mix things up. "In the villa, I won't be snake-y towards a girl, but if I like a guy I would say".

Eve and Jess have a private discussion about which boy they're going to choose to couple up with. He then messaged me afterwards and we spoke on WhatsApp.

The previous year, Jonny Mitchell seemed to be Camilla Thurlow's ideal man until he came out with the infamous line, "I feel like feminism believes in inequality", leaving her in tears at the lost dream. I feel that it is respected. Last year, Ovie Soko very quickly balanced the scales of Griffiths toxicity, while in 2017, Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes never broke our hearts - and, actually, that same year, Jamie Jewitt turned out to be Thurlow's real true love (they're still together now).

"I just like helping people and I want to do as much as I can".

Eve says her "claim to fame" is chatting to Kylie Jenner's ex, Tyga, after an event the two were attending in London.

"I have come in here to find love, to find that someone", he tells her. "I've left my scent". "Pop Smoke, the R "n" B rapper, messaged me too".

Talking about how happy he is with his new teeth, he added: "Honestly, these teeth have worked wonders for me".

Frustrated Jess says, "No, no can I just say".

"I don't think it would be right for me to do this to him".

Following a successful summer series a year ago, the ITV show now takes a new group of singles to a luxury villa in Cape Town. "Anyone not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the Island". Because if Love Island has proven anything, it's that you can't put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to stanning a male contestant.

Love Island returns tonight to Virgin Media One at 9pm.
