Google Podcasts App Expands to iOS

Check Point researchers have alleged that 24 of the 56 infected apps are meant for children, such as puzzles or racing games. What makes this malware unsafe is its ability to bypass Google and the Play Store's security protocols, as pointed out by Check Point. Based on data shared by Sensor Tower, first-time Houseparty app downloads last week increased 324% from the week prior; and from March 2 through March 9, first-time app downloads were up 563% week-over-week.
