Gwent is a card game that came from The Witcher books before it became a mini-game in The Witcher video games. This version of the game supports cross-play with other platforms, allowing duels between Android players and iOS and PC players.

The Android release arrived nearly a year to the day after CD Projekt Red announced it was working on smartphone versions of the free-to-play title.

If you're interested in downloading the Gwent Android game, you can find it on the Play Store here.

If you know nought about Gwent, it actually started out as a fun diversion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. If you're an iOS user who never got around to playing the game, but have been inspired by this article, it's available on the App Store here.

The cards you pick include famous characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Vesemir, Cirilla, Yennefer and much more.

Plus, players who already have a GOG account associated with Gwent will have all of their progress and purchases cross over to the Android version.

If you have an Android phone, you can finally download Gwent.

GWENT on Android is compatible with devices running Android version 7.0 or later, with at least 1.5 GB of RAM on board. Any player who pre-registered for the Android version will also receive the Imperial Golem avatar immediately upon login. There will also be multiple extra daily rewards throughout the game's launch week.
