Markle, 37, and Harry, 34, stepped out Monday for their first official engagement of the year. Royal biographer Robert Jobson claimed in his book, Charles at Seventy, that a stressed-out Harry became "short-tempered" with staff and insisted: "What Meghan wants, she gets".

She had been in an overcrowded market which was deemed a safety threat.

Meghan looked happy and relaxed as she chatted to well-wishers for 45 minutes - many of which had been queuing for hours to meet the couple - wearing a red wrap dress over a figure hugging purple dress from Babaton by Aritizia.

What do you think they will name the new royal baby?

Later in the day, Harry and Meghan met with members of the public in Hamilton Square and watched a new sculpture being crafted, marking the 100th anniversary of the death of Birkenhead war poet Wilfred Owen.

Meghan also told another woman that her due date is late April to early May.

During the trip to Tomorrow's Women Wirral in the North of England the pair spoke with workers and women who have been helped by the organization, which offers workshops, educational training courses and support groups around the areas of mental health issues, domestic abuse and addiction.

Harry and Meghan will hear directly from the women about their experiences, before visiting the onsite charity shop, café, and Inspiration Hall.

According to Bookmakers Paddy Power have suspended all betting on the gender of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby after an unprecedented number of bets came through on it being a girl.

There is also some speculation that the couple are expecting twins but the Duchess made no comments to the crowd about that on the walkabout.
