Graham: Impeachment inquiry is 'invalid' without whistleblower's testimony

President Trump on Sunday called on Republicans to fully support his "perfect" Ukraine call and not just attack the impeachment inquiry.

Trump himself also added fuel to the fire by tweeting on Saturday that the mysterious whistleblower somehow disappeared and should be on the witnesses list for the hearing.

"This is a calculated coup, that is being orchestrated by Rep. Adam Schiff" said Kevin McCarthy, the House Minority Leader on Fox News.

Several Democrats on Sunday pushed back against their GOP counterparts' request.

He also called the original whistleblower's testimony "redundant and unnecessary" and said that an appearance would put the whistleblower's personal safety at risk.

Another Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney of NY, also rejected the call for Hunter Biden to testify.

"Republicans, don't be led into the fools trap of saying it was not flawless, but is not impeachable".
