Akshay Kumar Says He’s Applied For Indian Passport, Twitter Has Mixed Reactions

Here he was asked about his Canadian citizenship row. I have never hidden or denied that I hold a Canadian passport. To which he said, "I'm from Delhi". He also said that he would get an Indian passport soon. He was trolled for not voting. "It was about whatever came in my head", the actor said.

Akshay further added that it hurts him when people question his patriotism over his Canadian passport. One of my close friends lives in Canada. After this, I started my preparation. and took a Canadian passport and other things because I felt my career was over.

"I am happy that I get to visit different branches of comedy". I never thought of changing my passport.

Akshay Kumar is one of the most hard-working and successful superstars in Bollywood. I am an Indian and it hurts me that I am asked to prove that every time.
