Fire Fight Australia's website sums up why this is so important. Comedian Celeste Barber will host the event, with Alice Cooper, k.d. lang, Olivia Newton-John and other acts to also perform.

Global rock legends Queen + Adam Lambert will take a short break from their Australian "The Rhapsody Tour" to grace the stage in Sydney for a second time in the wake of their sold out ANZ Stadium performance the night before to perform a special set.

The biggest names in the Australian music industry are set to appear, including Delta Goodrem, who sits alongside Guy Sebastian as a judge on The Voice Australia.

Fire Fight Australia is happening on Sunday February 16 at ANZ Stadium.

Rolling Stone said Lang will perform two songs, including her rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah".
