Scarlett Johansson has 'unfinished business' in new Black Widow footage

Some of them will be prequels, especially those introducing new heroes to the Universe, with the action taking place up until 2023 when the Endgame battle occurred.

Black Widow is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, and starts with Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) on the run from global authorities after betraying her allegiance to the Sokovia Accords.

Marvel has released a new special look at Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow. She sacrificed her life in Endgame so Clint could get the Soul Stone and the Avengers could save the day.

And we do mean that literally. Earlier today Marvel released a special look at Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow which gives us more of an idea as to what to expect from the film. We'll all find out come May 1st when Black Widow premieres.

The long wait for a new look at Marvel's hotly anticipated Black Widow is finally over. The chase leads her to Budapest, where she not only reunites with a younger colleague, Yelena (Florence Pugh), but gets embroiled in a plot tied to the training program that turned her into an assassin as a child.

In the comics, Taskmaster is sometimes portrayed as an anti-hero more than an outright villain, so it would be interesting to see how he interacts and collides with Black Widow and her family, all of whom tend to operate in the grey area as well. The clip moves on to the two set out to regroup with their "family" - Melina Vostokoff and Alexei Shostakov or the Red Guardian played by Rachel Weisz and David Harbour respectively.
