Eilish said in a statement, "It feels insane to be a part of this in every way".

It features heavy use of the piano as well as Eilish's signature whisper while fans of the franchise will recognise the chord that ends the song, taken from Monty Norman's original Bond theme.

As Spectre ended, James Bond (played by Daniel Craig) retired, taking his lover Madeleine (Lea Seydoux) away with him where, as we learned in the No Time to Die trailer, they settled overseas. "I'm still in shock", Eilish said in a statement. Eilish is now the youngest artist in history to record a Bond song, and it could mean she'll return to the Academy Awards stage next year, after having just attended the awards show last weekend. The American singer released "No Time to Die" at midnight Thursday and will perform it live for the first time at the Brit Awards next week.

"No Time To Die" opens in theaters in the US on April 10. "I don't know how much they loved the idea of fresh Rami coming in", he said.

Hearing Billie Eilish backed by an orchestral arrangement on this Bond theme is a damn MOOD, let me tell you.

No Time To Die sees Daniel Craig bowing out of the Bond role, and finds our hero at yet another crossroads. I am a huge fan of Billie and FINNEAS.

The caption-less image is probably about as much information as we're going to get from the mysterious street artist. How do we communicate environmental issues, in a way to open minds to listen?" wrote @girlsreallyrule.

"Writing the main song of a Bond movie is something we have been dreaming of throughout our lives".

Billie Eilish recently attended the Oscars where she performed The Beatles' Yesterday during the In Memoriam section.

Eilish is set to hit the road on a world arena tour which sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale. The track, released by Eilish's Interscope Records/Darkroom label, includes veteran British session musician Johnny Marr on guitar.

No Time To Die is the twenty-fifth installment in the James Bond Franchise. "Billie's premiere performance of "No Time To Die" will be at the 2020 #BRITs on 2/18".

The movie sees Bond coaxed out of retirement by Central Intelligence Agency chum Felix Leiter to help in the search for a missing scientist.
