OnePlus will ship phones with Facebook bloatware that can not be removed

Poco's Product Marketing Manager Angus Kai Ho Ng on his Twitter handle has asked fans if they would go for the OnePlus Nord or wait for a new Poco smartphone.

Poco will soon bring a new smartphone which will be a direct competitor to the latest OnePlus Nord.

OnePlus has postponed open sale of its affordable smartphone Nord to Friday owing to an 'overwhelming response during the pre-order period. Matter of fact, OxygenOS which comes pre-installed on OnePlus devices, is the best custom UI from any OEM, which provides stock Android experience. The smartphone can be purchased via Amazon and the company's official website.

The company has not yet given the name of its upcoming smartphone and its launch date. A variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in Gray Onyx will be available on Thursday for a tad higher price of ₹29,999 (~$400).

The most talked about phone in the year is set to go on sale on August 6.

OnePlus is not directly offering the Facebook app pre-installed with the Nord or OnePlus 8 series.

The Blue Marble model with higher memory is only available on Amazon and will be added to other stores starting on August 8.

OnePlus Nord features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that has a 90 Hz refresh rate.

Finally, speaking of cameras, the OnePlus Nord comes with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a 5-megapixel depth shooter. The phone packs in a large 4115 mAh battery, and of course it gets charged in no time at all thanks to the 30W charger in the box that supports Warp Charge 30T. It offers a dual 32MP+8MP camera at the front for selfies.

Well, OnePlus has confirmed to Android Police, that future devices will include Facebook App Installer, Facebook Services, and Facebook App Manager as system apps. OnePlus has yet to announce OnePlus Nord's launch in other regions.
