In the past, many have accused Google's Pixel phones of being slightly overpriced at launch, with Google's habit of discounting new Pixel phones just a couple months (or less) after release only adding fuel to that perception.

According to a report by 9to5 Google, the tweet that leaked the video also provided a link to purchase the new Pixel 5 but the page was not live.

Odd that the affordable Google device will not be launched officially until one month after pre-order starts. So the recent leak not only looks real, it also shows that the launch of these products is imminent.

Although these deals are good it's worth noting that Google has a launch event sceduled for later this week with the firm expected to announce a new Home speaker, updated Chromecast and rebooted Pixel phones including the Pixel 5. The video also emphasises on 5G connectivity. The company is organizing an event on Wednesday, September 30th.

Based on the leaks, the one area the Pixel 4A 5G could beat out both the 4A and the 5 is in screen size. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. As per rumours, it will feature a 6.0-inch flexible OLED display with a 2340×1080 pixel resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. A 4,080 mAh battery will be fueling the smartphone, and will come with 18W fast charging support via a Type-C port. A better camera setup can be found in this phone coming with Gorilla Glass 6 Protection.

Pixel 5 is going to be Google's 2020 flagship but in this the company has made a decision to give Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series. On the front, it will have an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
