Coronavirus: 859 new cases reported today & four deaths

Rajasthan reported 1,852 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Neighboring Lackawanna County has 3,536 cases - an increase of 82 over Thursday - and 218 deaths; Monroe County has 1,968 cases and 135 deaths.

Data published by the PHA showed there were 2,030 confirmed cases of Covid 19 in schools between their reopening on August 24th, and October 18th, when schools closed for an extended, two-week half-term holiday.

On Oct. 2, the Hays City Commission voted to extend the ordinance requiring face coverings until the seven-day new case average was five or fewer for 14 straight days.

As of 2pm on Saturday, 315 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 37 are in ICU.

Earlier, a member of the National Public Health Emergency Team said people's behaviour is changing in relation to COVID-19.

Since the first COVID-19 infection was reported in IL in late January, there have been a total of 370,194 confirmed cases in the state and 9,481 deaths as a result of the virus.

No link between flu jabs and deaths, says Seoul
However, health officials there say they have not found any direct link between the vaccine and the deaths of these people. But it turned out that about 18,000 people already received flu shots with the vaccines that should have been retrieved.

Meanwhile, 923 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours. "It is now more important than ever that people take this seriously".

Of the statewide cases, 10,218 are classified as active (up by 356 from Friday). A total of 133 faculty, staff and students were quarantined and isolated as of Saturday, with 14 of those in campus facilities.

The other cases detected in managed isolation included two in a family group who arrived from Amsterdam, via Singapore.

The active cases are on a continuous decline on a daily basis as India continued to maintain active cases below 7 lakh for the second day, while total recoveries crossed 70 lakh.

Health authorities are cheering strong weekend testing numbers, with laboratories completing 5396 tests on Saturday.

The Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services already uses the Consumer Complaint Form to investigate public health issues such as possible cases of salmonella and other food-borne illnesses.
