While SpaceX's launch business is valued at $12 billion, its point-to-point space travel is valued at $9 billion, describing Musk's space business as "mission control" for the "emerging space economy".

Following the unusual 48-hour delay, SpaceX said it had double-checked that the minor Falcon 9 second step camera issue did not reveal any deeper glitches. About an hour later, all 60 satellites drifted safely away from the top stage of the rocket. Thirty seconds before the second engine shutdown (SECO-1), the booster B1060 lit the central Merlin 1D engine and slowed it down to landing the Bullseye in a drone spacecraft.

The flight-tested Falcon 9 was launched from Cape Canaveral on October 24 at 15:31 UTC and carried 60 additional satellites for the company's Starlink constellation, a network of communications satellites in near-earth orbit that provides global broadband connections.

The first two missions were completed aboard Falcon 1 rockets in 2008 and 2009.

These were the details of the news SpaceX launches 100th successful falcon mission for this day. Up to now, SpaceX has successfully landed a Falcon first-stage rocket booster 63 times and re-flown boosters 45 times, making Falcon 9 the most-flown operational rocket in the United States.

The U.S. signed a peace deal with the Taliban in February, opening up a path toward withdrawing American troops from the conflict. The data also indicates that 51 civilians were killed and 137 more were wounded in the Taliban attacks over the last week.

Despite the delays, SpaceX is inching closer to being able to offer everyday Internet users the chance to surf the web using Starlink.

B1058 set the current world record when it launched ANASIS II just 51.08 days after sending Crew Dragon and two NASA astronauts on their way to orbit.

The Falcon 9 rocket being used for the launch has flown two previous missions, most recently in September.

In the future, SpaceX plans to deploy an orbital constellation of 30,000 satellites. The launch vehicle waited for 20 minutes after the second burn before the deployment of the satellites. "Our innovation areas include simulating space missions, discovering insights from satellite data, and fuelling innovation both on the ground and in orbit", the company said.

Earlier this month, SpaceX won a $149 million (roughly Rs. 1,100 crores) contract to build missile-tracking satellites for the Pentagon, its first government contract to build satellites. This will cross in November.
