Google Assistant of course brings with it the ability to search and display many of your own Google services such as Google Photos, Maps, Calendar and more along with its search engine which is much better than what Alexa can do. Besides this, the Samsung TV users can easily browse channels, adjust the volume, control playback and open apps by activating voice commands.

Google Assistant is now rolling out to France, Germany, Italy, and the UK. Besides Google Assistant, Samsung smart TV users also have access to Alexa and Bixby voice assistants.

Samsung has rolled out an update to its latest batch of Smart TVs to seriously boost their IQs. "With Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa now supported, we are inviting our consumers to ask even more of their Smart TVs".

Samsung's voice assistant, Bixby, has been something of a disappointment.

You can also control smart devices like smart lights and plugs from your TV with voice controls. According to the South-Korean giant, this feature on the smart TVs is now available in the UK, France, Germany and Italy.

Samsung's 2019 TVs previously integrated with Google Assistant, but back then users had to give their commands via a separate device equipped with the voice assistant like a Google Home smart speaker.

Customers can use their preferred voice assistant to discover new content with a search by genre, director or actor.

The new models will have Google Assistant built in to the TV meaning the commands will be directed to the TV. We can't imagine that many people would choose to use this when Google and Amazon's popular helpers are now configured. It notes that the 2020 4K and 8K QLED TVs, Crystal UHD TVs, The Frame TV lineup, The Serif, The Sero and The Terrace will get the assistant support without any additional hardware.

And if you're not a fan of Google Assistant, there's no need to worry.
