Singer Jennifer Lopez performs during the 2021 Presidential Inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the U.S. Capitol.

Lady Gaga launched Joe Biden's inauguration ceremony by belting out a classic rendition of the USA national anthem, donning a billowing ball gown and enormous dove brooch.

"One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all", Lopez also said in Spanish before closing out with "America the attractive".

And while no one knows what Jennifer will sing during her performance, Alex says that it will surely leave everyone at the edge of their seats.

The "Hustlers" star wore an all-white Chanel outfit, including a ruffled blouse, trousers and long tweed coat.

The superstar donned a attractive white outfit while she performed two songs including Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land" and "America The lovely".

Others were less receptive to her patriotic mashup, making jokes about how she worked her own song into the inaugural performance and wondering if it was planned.

In October, Lopez and Rodriguez joined Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, for a virtual conversation about the importance of voting in the general election.

Jennifer Lopez prepares to perform during the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The former Major League Baseball star revealed that the "responsibility" of the event - following the violent riots at the Capitol by supporters of outgoing president Donald Trump - was making Lopez nervous.

At just 22 years old, poet Amanda Gorman captured the mixed emotions of the past four years with a poem in which she referred to herself as a "skinny Black girl, descended from slaves and raised by a single mother (who) can dream of becoming president only to find herself reciting for one".

"And what's interesting is she's most nervous about Washington, D.C., because of the responsibility, and she wants more than anything, like all of us, to bring people together, to inspire. Music and sports does that better than anything".

"She has something really cool [planned]", he added.

Honestly? You can't help but love it.

Inauguration celebrations will continue tonight with a primetime special, dubbed Celebrating America, which will be hosted by Tom Hanks and will air on Wednesday (Jan. 20) from 8:30-10:00 p.m. EST.
