Reservist, with Navy base clearance, charged in connection to deadly Capitol riot

A tipster sent authorities screenshots of Andrew Wrigley's photos and videos from the January 6 mob in Washington, D.C., including photos showing the Jim Thorpe man inside the building, investigators said.

The musician, who resides in Columbus, Indiana, turned himself in to authorities around 3 p.m. Sunday (January 17), Chris Bavender, public affairs specialist for the FBI Indianapolis Field Office, said.

Andrew Wrigley was arrested in the Middle District of Pennsylvania on Friday. Multiple arrests have been made since, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has released a slew of photos trying to identify other people involved.

A subsequent investigation also found Griffin stated in a Facebook video that he "climbed up on the top of the Capitol building and. had a first row seat".

A post on the Bibiano Facebook account shows Griffith in what appears to be the crypt of the U.S. Capitol, raising his closed fist into the air.

Included in the Statement of Fact were multiple images the Federal Bureau of Investigation said showed Schaffer in action at the Capitol. Currently, Schaffer is facing six charges including "engaging in an act of physical violence in a Capitol building".

"On the afternoon of January 17, 2021, the US Capitol Police notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation that they had detained Couy Griffin of New Mexico, who was the subject of an arrest warrant for his role in the January 6 Capitol riots".

The screenshots were captioned "At the protest in DC at the capitol building #stopthesteal" and "At the protest in DC". "We hope that all those involved that day are brought to justice to be investigated and answer for their actions".

They wrote: "We absolutely DO NOT condone nor do we support riots or the acts of violence that the rioters were involved in on January 6th at the US Capitol building", they wrote.

The FDNY confirms Fee was a member of the department until his retirement in October 2020.
