RuPaul says: "I can not wait for everyone to see that Down Under queens have some of the biggest charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talents in the world".

Across the debut season, RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under - which begins production this week - will pit queens from Australia and New Zealand against each other for the first Down Under Drag Superstar.

Passion Distribution will distribute the series globally in line with Passion Distribution and WOW's distribution strategy.

RuPaul's Drag Race is officially going Down Under, and RuPaul and Michelle Visage have already been confirmed as judges. If you're a newcomer to all things Drag Race, you'll watch Australian and NZ drag queens work through a series of contests to emerge victorious, and join the likes of United States contenders Jinkx Monsoon, Sasha Velour and Sharon Needles in being crowned the series' victor.
